(not-so) bad habit

For a long time, since as long as I can remember, I've been starved for attention. I do strange things when I am bored, and i didn't know why until just now.
I have a strange family.

Examples: When I'm bored I Hum-Whistle. Which is a type of mixture between humming and whistling at the same time. I do this because F2 does it all the time and I guess I just sort of picked up on it sometime when I didn't mean to.

Also, I bite my fingernails. I know this sounds normal, but it isn't. When i was younger, I saw M-lite bite her fingernails, and I was fascinated by it. She kept saying how she wanted to quit, but I just saw it as wierd because it never really appealed to me. One day, I just started chewing off my fingernails, and started continuously until I couldn't live with longer nails. Now I do it when I'm bored.

Also, I pick at my feet. This sounds gross, but I find all sorts of things to pick at, mainly because one day Genuine Draft was in the car with me to church, and she was picking her feet. H said it was disgusting and then i started to admire. Probably because I like to go against everything H finds disgusting, so naturally I started doing it pronto. I would very much like a pumice stone one of these days.

Lastly, I dance. Not regular dancing. I certainly can't dance good to save my life, but strange dancing. I do it when there's an awkward pause in conversation. Or anytime there's music for that matter, but this could route back to any moment in ym childhood. Maybe it's from all of the kitchen dancing, or groundhog day, or M-lite and H in general. M-lite and H are like the ghetto dancers of our family. Maybe Bony-M's "salsa dancing" advice of the staring and hip shaking was an influence. Who knows...maybe I'm just wierd and had no other way to fill in the conversation gap.

I hope Genuine Draft is enjoying her approximately 4 pounds of gummy worms, and eating them in her strange way. color stripe by color stripe ending with the head. ( is that how it goes?)
