I'm not so sure how to react when somebody says to me " So, highschool's coming up. Are you nervous?"
I don't expect you to see my dilemma, but just take your time now to consider when you first were deciding your opinion about
highschool.....................................................
I have no feeling yet, if you can even imagine. I distinctly remember picking Boney M up at the airport one time, and she thought I was taking high school classes! She started rambling on about how much she loved this or that, and then asked me what I thought about the subject. I didn't say anything, but after a second she said, "Wait! What am I saying? You're not in high school yet! Right? Wow, I guess I really am getting too ahead of myself."
That was just the beginning! Now I get that annoying question atleast every couple weeks or so. Sometimes more often. Deep down inside, I really just don't know! Like for example, whenever something horrible or exciting is soon to come, I just ignore it because I don't want to get my hopes up or overreact. That's mainly why I procrastinate because I think it's too good to be true, or too horrible to be true in itself. Right now I'm in the state of convincing myself that high school really is going to happen. Just by writing that I got the willies!
I have a pretty good schedule, and I have already found classes with people I know, but should I be excited or depressed? From just things I've heard, the teachers are more estatic than middle school or elementary school teachers, so I'm definately excited about that. But what about the extra classes, and the loads of homework and finals? Boney M once told me that some times teachers assign test on the same days as other classes and so you might have two, maybe three, big tests in one day that effect your grade deeply! Oh pook.
The point of this post was definately not so you could leave me a comment that said, " H2, high school will be a piece of cake. It's fun, and you'll definately have tons of new chances to explore what you like."
Dont' tell me that, because then I start to doubt your sanity, and the grades you got in high school. Really the reason I posted this was to see how many other people were unsure about their feeling towards the subject of high school. So please tell me.

I think most people are unsure about how they feel about high school until they are there a week and see that it is very much like middle school but a lot more crowded and the teachers treat you like adults. If you are small you may have to throw a few elbows to get to class on time...or you can grab onto the backpack of someone large and "ride" your way through the busier hall way intersections.

I know what your feeling, I had to change high schools 4, yes 4, times. It sucked. Find some comfort in the fact that you will know lots of people and they will know you. It is also pretty cool that you have such great siblings that have blazed a good trail for you.
oh ok.
