Thanksgiving break was a wonderous occasion I've decided. The only problem with it is that it confused me into thinking that winter break was very much nearer than it actually was. It felt like Christmas was at my fingertips when in reality I have another month of school hell to go through. And yes....if you go look "school" up in a thesaurus, you will also be referenced to the word "hell" also. But don't be fooled. Hell is much warmer compared to the freezing classrooms in the basement near French class, and I hear it doesn't have nearly as many canned food drives.
And although Christmas is so far away it seems, that is all I want to talk about to keep my mind off other things.
My house will be packed like sardines. I've never looked at a can of sardines before...but supposedly it's very packed in there, and if it's also lacking warm water from the showers....it also very much describes my house during the Christmas season. I don't think sardines shower though.
The other day I was talking to SKi, because she asked me where everybody was sleeping. The only problem was that I was one bedroom short for F2. I told him this and he simply said "I'll sleep in the attic." Problem solved I guess, but it'll probably be very cold up there. Oh well, he'll just take it like a man. For all the other people, I discovered that there will be five people in my room. Five! It gets messy when there is only one of me, but now there'll be four more! I really shouldn't complain though. This'll probably be the last Christmas where everybody's together again. Isn't that d'pressing? I sure think so.
Genuine's marriage will also be a reason for unneeded riff-raff going on. I remember when Bony-M got married and our entire living room was piled high with gifts. I hope it won't be the same for Genuine because we don't have a free space in the living room after we get the Christmas tree. Besides, how is she going to get ALL those gifts back to Utah afterwards?Impossible I say.
Also, this saturday is the holiday bazaar where I sell all of my knitted things. I just taught myself how to make an ipod case but I only have bright pink yarn left so I hope people like hot pink ipod cases. hmmmm...hopefully I'll make enough money to buy some presents for this years gift giving. I think I'm done buying for Genuine, but that still leaves mom and dad. Dad's pretty hard to shop for, but mom just needs something nice or good smelling.
