Today's mom's birthday, only she's at work until like 5 o'clock so all day F2 and I have been running around buying things and wrapping things. We bought her a raspberry chocolate cake from thriftway, and as presents ( SHHHHHH!!) I bought her a 7-piece collection set of ceramic canisters for the kitchen. I assume they're for putting sugar and flour etc inside of them. Comes equipped with measuring spoons on each one! F2 bought her a new garden shovel, although since he's the one who broke the old one it shouldn't count as a present. Also he bought her a photo album to put all of our florida vacation pictures in it.She wanted one.
On another notes, besides mom's 28th birthday, dad has become a little bit into the idea of skiing now. Ever since the young men went he has a sudden urge to go this friday. I've never snowboarded or skied but It couldn't hurt....nevermind. It probably will hurt. F2 and I went to goodwill and bought me some boots and poles and now all I have to do is brace myself. (Hopefully not a back brace, if you get what I'm scared of)
We're taking mom out to dinner tonight and we don't know where to go. If you read this before 5 o'clock and have any ideas give us a call.
Also we just had our pre-camp meeting for girls camp info last thursday. It's u.s. military themed! I have a feeling I should pack my camouflage.
