Hidden Staircase and Clue of the Broken Locket.

So really I never gained much of an appreciation for adult books. They have less imagination and appeal than young adult books. I have a feeling I'll never read anything meant for anybody over the age of fifteen, mainly because they're so boring, and everything become "symbolic." I hate it when books are symbolic. Why hide the moral of the story if that's what they're trying to portray? Why not just say what you mean and mean what you say? Suddenly, when a books symbolic, it is automatically categorized as sophisticated and ingenious. All I'm saying is that assigned high school reading books are tarded again.
On a separate notion, my chicks have discovered that their beaks can act as a weapon, and so they attempt to peck me when I'm changing the newspaper in their cage.
If our camera hadn't been stolen I would post a video of my new pets and I, but for now you'll have to use or imaginations or come for a visit.
The weather hasn't been too good recently so I haven't been taking them outside, so it's saddening every time I go to change their food and water. Maybe the sky will clear up soon.
