Summer fiesta beneath the stars.

Who knew a life could change so suddenly? I was afraid that my last chicken would be my last pet. Never in my life have I ever been petless. There has always been something pooping in the yard, pecking at my shoelaces, going on a walk with me, scratching my knee, or whining through the storage room. Always! Then I got o my last chicken and I just thought, "what if mom doesn't let us get anymore pets?"
So I convinced her to let me get some chicks and I got very excited and researched them and decided to clean out their cage by myself every day. The time came and now I have three, and then I thought, "I better get more because there's nothing better in the world than looking out your bedroom window and seeing a bunch of chickens grazing your backyard." So I decided to adopt another six. Hooray! I found an adoption option. And then my dad brought home a stray dog (who's all healthy it turns out except for some fleas which we're treating, and a floating rib which apparently doesn't hurt her in any way) and now I have four pets, another six on the way, and soon I'll have ten pets! That's the second most amount of pets I've ever had at one time. Last time I had (six chickens, a parakeet, two hermit crabs, and two dogs.)
If I figure out how to add videos to blogger, I'll post a video or two showing you my chicks, and my puppy. And maybe even the rats that magically showed back up again in the backyard. They're getting fatter this year! The puppy like chasing them, but hasn't caught one yet.
