Quiltin' Fool

I began a personal progress project about
" learning a home making skill." I decided to learn sewing. and guess what happened that week?! My teacher announced she was pregnant. After I found out that it was to be a girl , I went to the fabric store to pick out some material for a baby quilt I would make for her.

After long aggrivating hours of cutting, sewing, pinning, and ironing, I finished it a couple days ago. It took me about a month. I stitched on two bee-patches in the corner of the quilt, and presented it to her today after school. It was joyous with lots of hugs and pictures.but guess what?! My OTHER teacher, Mrs.J, just announced that SHE is pregnant also! but with a boy whereas Mrs.F was with a girl. Mom won't help me make another one for Mrs.J so I'll just have to live with her being jealous of Mrs.F.
O well. Atleast now I'm done with my 10-hour project.
I have lots of homework to do, but mom just says to do it during my 12 hour drive to Idaho tomorrow! We only get to stay for the weekend so I highly think that this trip is pointless if it were not for my neice that I'm visiting for the first time ever, Garbo. I can't wait to meet her, so it will be ever so much harder to bifurcate from her. Maybe she'll be plumper than when she was born. I like plump babies as opposed to skinny, annorexic babies that don't have any fat rolls like my entire family had at birth. Man GenuineDraft was a chunk of fat if I ever saw one. Although I can't judge because the 4th and 5th years of my life were spent in sweatpants, and a mullet.
